Strike the perfect balance of grace and strength. Combining ballet, pilates, and cardio elements, Barre is a low-impact, total body workout that sculpts and lengthens your muscles while improving your posture and flexibility.
Buti Yoga is a female empowerment practice that incorporates tribal dance, meditation, kundalini and vinyasa elements, transforming your BODY + SOUL. It is a cathartic and heart-pounding experience unlike anything you’ve ever tried before!
All group classes are $15 for drop-in or $125 for a punchcard of 10

Aquene Diedricksen, an MDI-native, started dancing at the age of three and hasn’t stopped moving since. A natural athlete, she participated in soccer, tennis, and track, all while studying Russian-technique ballet at the Libitzki School of Dance.
She found her passion in performing and choreographing, blending styles of contemporary, hip hop and African.
Today, Aquene utilizes her dynamic dance and fitness background to teach classes and workshops that sculpt the body with the feminine physique in mind. Aquene is available for Private and Small Group Training in addition to her weekly group fitness classes.
“My name is Suzanne. I’m the proud mom of 4 awesome kids and 4 amazing grandkids. I work full time at Harbor House Community Service Center and I’m also a non-traditional college student. I’m a marathoner who can’t run a whole lot any more due to a knee surgery, so I was looking for a class that would give me the same fulfillment that I get from running. I started taking Barre and Buti Yoga with Aquene in fall of 2017 and I was immediately hooked! Aquene has a way of lighting up a room and helping you find the very best version of yourself. The workouts are so fun, so challenging and so rewarding. Most importantly, we feel like a family in this class. This strong tribe of women build each other and ourselves upward. I’ve never really experienced anything quite like this in a fitness class. Aquene has created something very special- she is one of a kind!”
